Harts Boatyard is located in a glorious position on the River Thames a mile upstream from the bridge at Kingston upon Thames and opposite Hampton Court Palace's beautiful grounds.

The oldest Boatyard in Surrey, Harts Boatyard was established in 1853. Today it is owned by Ossie Stewart who has run a business from the site since 1976.

The yard has recently been completely refurbished including the installation of state of the art floating pontoons, new electrics, and a pump out system. We are now able to offer the best facilities and a truly first classs location for boatowners and residents to enjoy the River Thames to the maximum.

Harts Boatyard and Stewart Marine are proud to be members of both The Yacht Harbour Association and the British Marine Federation.

Our new pontoon layout is aimed at the popular canal boat market and we offer a range of new boats for residential and leisure use. All the boats are completed by our skilled on-site craftsman and are available from 40ft to 57ft.

Residential craft can also be used as a base for overseas customers who require a bolt hole in England with reasonably priced living accomodation close to Central London and Heathrow Airport. We have a number of moorings reserved for such clients where their boats can be fully serviced and maintained whilst they are abroad and made ready for their use at very short notice on their return. This represents a 1 or 2 bed apartment close to Central London in the region of £130,000

Harts Boatyard undertake all types of boat repairs and engineering work and we have qualified boat safety inspectors on hand.

Our Boat Sales takes in all types of boats from new wide beam canal boats to modern state of the art racing dinghies back to 1931 slipper launches.

We also cater for the emerging market in floating offices and pied a terre houseboats.

We also have a pub and restaurant on site to suit all tastes. After your meal or drink you may hire a boat from our selection of electric and motor launches and experience the beauty of the first non tidal reach of the River Thames.
